I had such a great time going there and I know most other people will feel the same way forever. There are three reasons I like your office. The first reason I like your office is because I really like all the posters and surf boards on your walls. The second reason is that most of the things in your office are related to sports, which I love. The last reason is that everything on your walls looks good because it all matches the paint on your walls. I chose your office because it sounded like you knew what you were doing. When I got there I realized that what I said was true and I also realized that Dr. DaVirro was very nice & I love going there. So far I’ve had a great experience. I don’t have braces anymore but when I did I got something called wooden nickels but only when I brushed my teeth good, get there on time, and don’t forget anything. All you have to do is those three things and you will get a wooden nickel. Dr. DaVirro made my life so much better because before I had to smile and have crooked, bad looking teeth, but now I don’t have to worry about that anymore because I have straight teeth now. I love my teeth straight so much and it has improved my self-confidence so much it’s not even funny. I will always, always go to Dr. DaVirro’s, and I will always remember and appreciate everything you guys have done for me. You guys are the best and I will always think that, always. After several recommendations from friends in the valley, we decided on Dr. DaVirro’s office to help my son’s crooked teeth. As soon as we stepped in the office, I knew we were in the right place. Being a surfer, I felt completely at home and relaxed in the “surf themed’ office. It’s a cheery place that we love to go to, rather than dread the orthodontist. Dr. DaVirro was so great with my son, explaining everything to him and helping him to take responsibility for his own teeth. He makes it fun for the kids, choosing the colors of the braces, etc. He was also very thorough and clear with us in terms of explaining the process and the cost. The staff is always cheerful and friendly, and they happily worked with us to create a financing plan that worked for our family. TVs are hung strategically above the patent chairs to make the experience more relaxing for the kids. Dr. DaVirro’s staff takes time each week to review the local newspaper for articles about their patients, clip the articles and post them on the bulletin board in the waiting area. We have run into Dr. DaVirro and his family several times in town. Each time we have been greeted personally by name. My son looks forward to every visit to Dr. DaVirro’s office. I like to go to Gary DaVirro Orthodontics because the staff is very friendly and inviting and is very good at their job. My experience here has been great because they make everything so easy to follow. I thought braces would be hard but when I was provided with all the things I needed to take care of my teeth, it became easy. And it is very fun because there are a lot of contests to win cool prizes. And when you get your braces on you get a gift certificate to a coffee & pastry place nearby. For your birthday and Christmas they send you cool cards. I also think my teeth looked better when I got my braces off and moved onto a retainer. My brother and I both had braces and they (thankfully) scheduled our appointments for the same time! I believe I am receiving fair value for my orthodontic dollars, too. The payment options make it easy for anyone in your family to get braces! And if a family member gets bored while waiting for you they can read magazines, books or play video games! Gregory S., 13 yrs. Oh where to begin, our family can’t even begin to say enough about Gary DaVirro and his staff. I was so lucky the day I walked into the 6th grade class at Ballard School. As I looked around at all the sweet smiling faces, I noticed mostly all of them wearing braces. I knew in the back of my mind I had three children who needed braces desperately but in my heart I knew I didn’t have a big amount of money. I then decided to get bold and ask some of these children where did you get your braces and my answer was there is only one orthodontist that we all love and that is Dr. DaVirro. It wasn’t two weeks later my daughter asked me “Is there anything we can do mom, I look like a freak”. I then decided to take my children in to see Dr. DaVirro even though I probably could not afford to pay for braces. Boy was I ever surprised, Dr. DaVirro worked out a payment plan with me for all three of my children where I paid no interest and where I felt it was a manageable payment every month. My older son was so excited not to have such an enormous overbite. I asked him last night how he felt about his smile and he said, “Mom, I feel like nobody is staring at me anymore.” I then asked my other son how he felt about his million-dollar smile and he told me, “All I can tell you Mom is that the first question I am going to ask my wife to be is, did you get your teeth done by Dr. DaVirro?” My youngest daughter just smiles morning, noon, and night. Upon entering the office of Dr. DaVirro you realize you’re in a happy place. The décor says “Cool”, and the smiles on every staff members faces says “We’re sincerely glad to see you”. After a few initial visits I noticed the staffs wardrobe was color coordinated, including Dr. DaVirro himself. Now…I didn’t pick our orthodontist based on the ability to color coordinate daily, however I have found this same impeccable attention to detail carries over to the work they do straightening the teeth of our Santa Ynez Valley children. Our experience at this office has always been one of terrific service! In fact it’s not unusual for Dr. D to greet us at the front desk when we arrive. I believe he truly understands the importance of the investment we’re making in our children and he approaches each patient individually. I would like to take this opportunity to share some of my family’s experiences with Dr. DaVirro and his wonderful and caring Orthodontic family. I personally have known Dr. DaVirro for about 12 years and most of his staff for quite a long time. I first met Dr. DaVirro while working in a dental office in his building. Dr. DaVirro was/is our/their, orthodontic referral. I saw many mutual patients, children and adults have the most wonderful experience with Dr. DaVirro’s office and services. I got to see first hand the positive changes that Dr. DaVirro and his Ortho Family had on these patients. Dr. DaVirro and his staff never treat their patients as numbers. They are always treated as friends. Dr. DaVirro engages his patients when they are in his office, asking about sports, school, vacations, hobbies and other interests they may have. As the years have passed my husband and I started our own family. We had twins and before you knew it they were ready for braces. There was only one choice for us, Dr. DaVirro and his Ortho Family. My children had very different cases and Dr. DaVirro not only took my husband and I through the steps but also made sure that our children understood. My children have always had good experiences at their appointments. The staff always lets us know what the appointment is for and what to expect afterwards, tenderness if any. One of our concerns like many families out there was the financial part of the treatment. Dr. DaVirro was very accommodating, saying at one time, “Don’t worry your kids won’t be in treatment at the same time”. With our children’s cases they only overlapped a few months. After my son got his braces off he was very happy with the results and so were/are we. My son wears retainers right now and always gets a good report at his check ups. Dr. DaVirro and his staff always encourage their patients to follow the treatment plan. Whether it is brushing more and staying away from the foods that may hinder their progress. My daughter has a few more months to go but is happy as well. My children had braces before most of their friends and at first didn’t like the idea of that. Dr. DaVirro simply said that they would be done before most of their friends and that doing it at this age would be easier on them in the long run instead of waiting until they were teenagers. Like a lot of people there is always something you would like to change about yourself, hairstyle, longer fingernails, being taller or shorter. In the case of our children they have never lacked self-confidence but I can say that they love what Orthodontics has done for them. There is a little “hitch in their giddy-up” with how they carry themselves. I do believe having a beautiful smile has added to that. I feel fortunate to not only call Dr. DaVirro and his Orthodontic Family my friends but my family’s extended Orthodontic Family.
